Silver Surfers returns …

The Silver Surfer promotion we ran last winter was so successful in getting people into the warm and out of the cold wintry weather to share a lunch  with friends, families or partners, that we’ve decided to bring it back again.

The offer is only for those who are aged 60 or over and if in doubt, you will be asked to show your bus pass!

These cold, dark days can be hard but an hour or so out of the house, with friends, makes all the difference. Owner Steve Attrill explains more. “The Hive means a lot to many people both local and from further afield. Our customers tell us how much they like the fact the café is always lively and there are people around to chat with.”

Silver Surfers will run from the 1st November 2011 to 31st March 2012, when The Hive Beach Café is offering a platter of light tempura battered fish and chips with minted peas or salad plus a dessert for just £9.95.

So for this year’s Winter Tonic, come on down and enjoy some great food and great company.

The offer applies on Tuesday and Thursdays, 12 noon to 2pm. Singles, groups … all are welcome. Wheelchair access is available.

The Silver Surfer promotion will not be available from November 28th – 16th December while we are offering our Christmas lunch menu.
