Sunrise last Friday was at 8.10am. Very reasonable for us that like a bit of later start when we’re on holiday.
The café was shut last week for cleaning so I took the opportunity to climb one of the local hills and capture the sunrise. The sun rose into a bank of cloud, so the sun looks like a golden disc coming up over Weymouth & Portland, the Chesil Bank and the Jurassic Coast, with Colmers Hill and the valley running down to Seatown forming the foreground.
Glorious Dorset.
