The Bath Half Marathon is fast approaching, set to go on the 11th March 2012 and Debbie Attrill, wife to the owner, Steve, is set to join the masses.
Debbie is no stranger to running, having completed the Race for Life for the last few years, sometimes even running with her daughter Maisy, she has decided its time to move upwards and onwards to a half marathon and she has Bath in her sights.
The training is getting serious of late, with only a month to go before she heads out across the wonderful Bath cityscape, there has been sightings of a running machine in the garage for when the streets are just too cold. Debs has inspired Steve, her husband, to get fitter, who has recently signed up for some personal training at the local leisure centre.
Debbie, who is a local GP, is supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and has already raised quite a large sum through a bucket and sponsorship forms at the café itself. As Macmillan is the preferred charity of the Hive Beach Café this year, we have setup a Just Giving page, for all things related to our Macmillan fundraising.

Hi Debbie, Andrew and I are Directors of the Bath Half Marathon and we’ve been coming to your gorgeous Hive Bay cafe for years and were delighted to pop back last week for some delicious seafood soup & noticed that you are running the half this year. Are you coming with you family?
