Our car park is a National Trust car park, and parking here is free if you are a National Trust member.
The Hive Beach Café is located right on the beach at Burton Bradstock on the Jurassic Coast, with far-reaching views across Lyme Bay and Chesil Beach. It's the perfect location to enjoy fresh, local seafood, homemade cakes or just a simple cup of tea.

Our mission is to use locally sourced, sustainable ingredients and to support local suppliers wherever possible. When available we serve fish straight from the very shoreline you’ll be eating on. As a result, our comprehensive menu changes daily and evolves through the seasons.

Open all year round - our walls disappear in the summer so you get the best of both worlds whilst enjoying delicious food. In the winter we crank up the heating creating a cosy environment with the sound of the waves crashing on the beach in the background. Whether inside or out, you are unmistakably at the beach.

During the hot summer months, the Top Marquee appears! It has the best views over the sea and is away from the crowds, making it the locals favourite spot. Open from Easter through to October (weather dependent). This little gem is the ideal space to while away the afternoon or catch a spectacular sunset over Lyme Bay.

Now into its fourth decade of trading, the café has become a popular and well-established eatery favoured by locals and holidaymakers alike.
With our sister café, 'The Watch House Café' in West Bay in its' 11th year and our most recently opened restaurant 'The Club House' along the coast in West Bexington in its 6th year. The Hive Beach Company brand has spread along the rugged West Dorset coastline over the years, offering quality seafood infused menus in some of the finest coastal locations.
