The Hive Beach Café is located right on the beach at Burton Bradstock on the Jurassic Coast.
With far reaching views across Lyme Bay and Chesil Bank it's the perfect location to enjoy fresh, local seafood, homemade cakes or just a simple cup of tea.
We’re committed to using fresh, locally sourced seafood - when available we serve fish straight from the very shoreline you’ll be eating on.
We offer a wide selection of cakes, biscuits and take away treats. All homemade by Melanie and her team at the Hive Beach Micro Bakery based in West Bay.
We’re happy to accommodate large parties of diners and we’re dog friendly but we don’t take reservations so it’s advisable to arrive a little early for lunch as we do get busy.
Open for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings in October.
Dinner served from 6pm - 8pm. Closing at 9pm.
On fine autumn days, you can enjoy panoramic views of Lyme Bay from the tables outside the Beach Hut. We serve Lovingtons ice cream from nearby Somerset and our house blend Dibar coffee. We even have a signature ice cream flavour – Hive Honeycomb!
Beach Hut opening times during the autumn months are weather dependant and usually only at weekends.
