Dogs at Hive Beach.

Dogs are allowed on Hive Beach except during summer. From May 1st to September 30th, dogs are not permitted on the main beach in front of our cafe (assistance dogs excepted). However, you can still walk your dog on Burton Beach.

Between March 31st and July 31st, please keep your dog on a lead to protect ground-nesting birds raising their young. Outside of these restricted periods, dogs can be off-leash on Hive Beach.

Gallery.

With its dramatic cliffs and miles of unspoilt shoreline, Hive Beach feels like a well-kept secret. While many holidaymakers head for Devon or Cornwall, here you can enjoy the sense of having your own secluded stretch of the Jurassic Coast all to yourself.
